Safety Checks + extra info

29/10/2019 12:34

Hello, For everyone who wants to compete, compulsory robot safety checks will be held on Wednesday 6th November between 16:00 and 18:00 in B.55 in Electronic and Electrical Engineering. It should take no longer than 10-15 minutes, and it is important as we need to be aware of the layout, weapons and internals of your robot. Please bring whatever you have, even if your robot is not completed yet. If you cannot make it to the safety check, please let us know as soon as possible. We also ask that you complete your Competitor Hub documentation before the safety check (organising team members and completing the robot information), as this allows us to know all about your robot. We also ask for build documentation (photos of the build and any other information) to be placed in the Google Drive folder created when you create your robot in the Competitor Hub. Also, at least one member of your team must be a member of ShockSoc in order to compete. If this is not the case, you can buy a membership through the following link: https://clubsoc.luu.org.uk/groups/9042/ If you do not attend the safety checks, do not complete your Competitor Hub documentation and/or none of your team members are ShockSoc members, there is a risk that we will not allow your robot to compete in Robot Fighting League. If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to help!
